The only real issue I had was the horse running into things and then getting “startled” you can tell the game is designed with kids in mind as it is not very challenging. The controls of the game are decent enough. Most of what you do will be fetch quests, but you are free to do these any way you want. The game has you going around the island and talking to many different NPCs they will give you missions to do such as a kid asking you to go and find his toy that was lost in the storm. Ok, so do not go thinking that Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp is like Red Dead Redemption in its scale! However, at the time this was as close to an open world Barbie game as we had gotten. I have to be honest, the story is not all that bad and it is not even based on a tie-in movie.
